The story

Research reaching practice

Two of Professor Amir’s studies contribute to a government-funded evaluation of BIM policy interventions in Hong Kong.

How the research was used

The report uses the BIM-uptake review when explaining organisational capabilities, and the proposed adoption framework when discussing top-management support. These connections feed the study’s analysis of the conditions affecting BIM adoption, beyond a reference-list mention.

The documented contribution

February 2023 · Printed pages 36–38 · References pages 104 and 107. The report presents the research team’s findings, not government endorsement or evidence that its recommendations were adopted.
